Personal:
Jarrell made herself known on the international judo circuit at a young age, competing at the Senior, Junior and Cadet World Championships in 2009 and becoming the youngest U.S. athlete ever to qualify for a Senior World Championship Team at age 14. A high school wrestler who competed on the boys' team, Jarrell went on to represent Team USA at the Youth Olympic Games, winning gold in 2010. The six-time Senior World Team member has battled back from injuries, but has her sights set on qualifying for her first Olympic Team in 2024.
