Personal
A silver medalist at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Mutia began her career first as a judo athlete at 14 years old and soon added wrestling to her repertoire, competing from her sophomore through senior years at Millbrook High School where she earned All-Academic Team Honors in the Capital Eight Conference for her senior season in 2016 due to her 4.7 GPA and a courseload that included seven Advanced Placement classes throughout her high school career.
Mutia competed at her first Paralympic Games in Tokyo and established herself as a medal contender for the Paris Games after winning back-to-back bronze medals at the 2022 IBSA World Championships and 2023 IBSA World Games. She balances training with a full-time career as a software analyst for Comcast working in quality assurance engineering.
