International Judo Federation Competition History:
Nicole Stout JF Profile
Personal: A highly ranked rhythmic gymnast as a youth, Stout left gymnastics in junior high and found herself in need of a new outlet. She didn't have to look far as her younger brother, Jeff, was competing in judo. At 13 years old, Stout transitioned from artistic sports to the combat realm and, within three years, soon became one of the best junior athletes in the nation, winning gold at the 2016 USA Judo Junior Olympic National Championships in the U20 category at age 16. By the following year, Stout broke through at the international level, qualifying for both the Junior and Senior World Championship Teams as the only athlete to do so that year. After winning back-to-back USA Judo Senior National Championship titles at 78 kg, the former 70 kg athlete officially moved up to 78 kg in 2022 where she is now the top-ranked athlete in the nation.
