Athlete Stipends and EAHI Eligibility and Criteria Approved for this Term

Athlete stipends and EAHI eligibility across all Olympic weight categories will be based on the IJF World Ranking List (WRL).

An athlete ranking will be determined after removing duplicate countries and host countries from the ranking list. For example, if a U.S. Athlete is ranked 11th on the ranking list but Japan has two athletes ranked in the top 10, the U.S. Athlete would be considered to be ranked 10th as the second athlete from Japan would be removed. This is consistent with the Olympic qualification process as each country can only enter one athlete per weight division at the Olympic Games. Athletes qualifying for resources remain eligible until the next evaluation date.

Eligibility for Athlete Stipends and EAHI resources will be evaluated on January 1 (for January-March) and April 1 (for April – June), July 1 (for July – September) and October 1 (for October – December) using the IJF World Ranking List.
