IJF Academy UDJC & UCJI Semester 2 Announcement

(Colorado Springs, CO) – The International Judo Federation has announced the start of the UDJC Course (Undergraduate Diploma as Judo Coach) as well as the start of Semester 2 for the 2024 UCJI Course (Undergraduate Certificate as Judo Instructor).

COURSE TIMELINE OF SEMESTER 1
• First day: Monday, August 5, 2024
• Last day: Sunday midnight, December 8, 2024
COURSE TIMELINE OF SEMESTER 2
• First day: Monday, March 3, 2025
• Last day: Sunday midnight, June 15, 2025
The IJF Academy will invite eligible students to enroll in Semester 2. Eligibility criteria: a student who completes all online modules of Semester 1 (minimum of 60% pass rate or higher).
COURSE FEES
1. USD $1,500 - NEW
- Eligible students who finished the UCJI Certificate with 80% or higher results both in Nage-waza and Katame-waza during the UCJI Practical Session.
- This indicated does not include the participation cost of the practical session! The students or the federation must cover flights and the cost of board and accommodation during the practical session.
- Practical sessions for the UDJC courses will be organized in 2025. The location and dates will be published in the News and Resources section on the IJF Academy platform.
2. USD $1,150 – UPGRADE
- Eligible students who finished the Level 2 – Coach course and finished the UCJI Certificate course in the past. These students must complete the online modules in both semesters.

Undergraduate Certificate as Judo Instructor (UCJI) #
All the previous qualifications (Instructor – Level 1) obtained by graduated students will remain valid. Still, those who want to upgrade to the newly accredited courses need only apply for the online phase and get the Undergraduate Certificate Judo Instructor qualification.

COURSE FEES
1. USD $900 - NEW students to Undergraduate Certificate Judo Instructor
This fee does not include the participation cost of the practical session. The students or the federation must cover flights and the cost of board and accommodation during the practical session.

2. USD $550 - UPGRADE students to the Undergraduate Certificate Judo Instructor course (online only).
The course fee must be paid before the first day of the course.
