A clinical psychologist who earned his doctorate from Widener University, Watson competed at the elite level in both goalball and judo, making his Paralympic debut in judo at the 2008 Games. Although Watson took more than a decade off from competition, he returned to the international stage at the 2022 IBSA World Championships where he placed ninth, beginning his qualification process for a second Paralympic Team.
